Rx for Dust: Tips That Will Help You Breathe Easier

Dust exists in every home and tends to quickly settle on various surfaces, creating an untidy effect. However, dust not only creates an aesthetic problem but may also represent a health hazard, especially for people suffering from asthma, allergies or other respiratory tract problems. In dry, desert areas like Yuma, it may be even harder to deal with dust problems. To help you  better control indoor air quality, here’s our recommended Rx for dust:

Shoes can bring large amounts of dust and debris into your home, and leaving them at the door may significantly reduce your home’s dust levels.
  • Replace or clean HVAC air filters – The filters on your A/C, heat pump or furnace should be inspected once a month and replaced or cleaned as necessary to ensure clean, dust-free indoor air.
